The official climbing season for Mount Rinjani runs during the dry months from April to November.

During this window, the trails offer the safest footing and the clearest, cloud-free panoramic views. Please note that the National Park authority closes all trekking routes from January to the end of March due to heavy monsoon rains and safety hazards. As spots are strictly regulated by the government’s quota system, we highly advise booking your Rinjani Trekking Package well in advance for the 2026 season.
